Therefore, safe and easily applicable non-pharmacological management is needed, one of which is ginger aromatherapy. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of ginger aromatherapy in reducing nausea and vomiting among pregnant women at the RI Simpang Tiga Public Health Center, Pekanbaru. This study employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of 90 pregnant women who received antenatal care at the health center. Samples were selected using purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed a decrease in nausea and vomiting scores after the administration of ginger aromatherapy, with the mean score decreasing from 7.25 to 4.60 and a statistically significant p-value (p = 0.000). It can be concluded that ginger aromatherapy is effective in reducing nausea and vomiting among pregnant women. Pregnant women are encouraged to use ginger aromatherapy as a natural and safe alternative, under the guidance of healthcare professionals. ER -
